The Taj Mahal

I took this photo on October, 3rd 2010 in Agra, India on the grounds of the Taj Mahal. The tomb is quite large (you can get perspective by looking at the people on the platform directly in front of the main building) but is actually quite small on the inside. The building is made of white marble and is very ornately engraved.  I chose this picture out of plethora I took because I liked the atypical perspective that draws into play the landscape...which was immaculate.

This photo was taken looking west from St Thomas early November 2009. The size of the sun is exaggerated by the digital camera into an impressive caricature.

San Diego at Night

I took these four exposures from my room at the Marriott near the convention center in San Diego in July of 2009.

My digital camera does not handle motion well and allowed me to get the progressively more overexposed appearance as shown in this mosaic.

Scenic Overlook at El Yunque National Forest, PR

I took this on our honeymoon in El Yunque national forest in Puerto Rico. The rain forest was beautiful and, obviously, you can see the ocean in the distance. We didn't make it all the way up into the cloud forest, sadly. Clearly another trip is in order.

I took this photo at Cinnamon Bay on the St. John, Virgin Islands, during our honeymoon, October 2009. Definitely the most beautiful beach either of us has seen to this point!

The Baha'i House of Worship

This was taken in New Delhi on a business trip late September 2010. The temple was quite impressive and the entire white outside of the temple is marble.

Photos were not allowed inside the temple, but the interior is reflected in the exterior in dimension. The temple takes up most of the shape of the inside. The vaulted ceiling of the temple rises all the way to the top of the temple that is seen here.
